New infrared absorption cross sections of difluoromethane (HFC-32) for atmospheric remote sensing

چکیده
• New air-broadened IR absorption cross sections (850–1335 cm ?1 ) for HFC-32. Cover temperatures from 188 to 297 K and appropriate atmospheric pressures. More pressure temperature combinations than previous datasets. Difluoromethane (CH 2 F ; HFC-32), a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) used as refrigerant in air conditioning heat pump systems, is currently being phased out under the terms of Montreal Protocol (Kigali Amendment). In order monitor its concentration profiles using infrared-sounding instruments, example Atmospheric Chemistry Experiment – Fourier transform spectrometer (ACE-FTS), accurate laboratory spectroscopic data are required. This work describes new high-resolution infrared difluoromethane / dry synthetic over spectral range 850–1335 , derived spectra recorded (Bruker IFS 125HR) 26-cm-pathlength cell. Spectra were at resolutions between 0.009 0.03 (calculated 0.9/MOPD; MOPD = maximum optical path difference) pressures (7.6–760 Torr 188–297 K). The this improve upon those available HITRAN remote sensing.

Infrared Moon imaging for remote sensing of atmospheric smoke layers.
Simultaneous visible and long-wave infrared (IR) images of the Moon were used with a simple energy-balance model to study the spatial pattern of lunar surface temperatures. The thermal images were obtained with a radiometrically calibrated, compact, low-cost, commercial IR camera mounted on a small telescope. Differences between the predicted and measured maximum Moon temperatures were used to ...

متن کاملThe IONO2 absorption cross-sections
The UV-visible absorption spectrum of gaseous IONO 2 has been measured over the wavelength range 245–415 nm using the technique of laser photolysis with time-resolved UV-visible absorption spectroscopy. IONO 2 was produced in situ in the gas phase by laser flash photolysis of NO 2 /CF 3 I/N 2 mixtures. Post-flash spectra were deconvolved 5 to remove contributions to the observed absorption from...
